Any brand with roots in Chicago knows a thing or two about getting chilly and Snowman Golf is ice cold in all of the right ways. Snowman is one of a growing list of online golf apparel brands that are breaking the mold of traditional golf attire. We’re loving what Snowman Golf and others are doing bring more expressive, stylish fashion to golf courses around the country.

How Stylish Is Snowman Golf Brand?
Brand Aesthetic
Snowman Golf brand’s aesthetic is unapologetically “crazy, fun and one-of-a kind” and we have a hard time disagreeing – these guys really seem to enjoy making whacky golf attire. Their yeti mascot is the star of the show for us and it pulls through on a lot of what this brand does. They do a great job extending the mascot imagery in unique ways across their apparel options that all have some sort of tie back to golf.
In the items we tested, we saw the yeti as “snowkid” – a yeti with a golf swing looking very reminiscent of a sweet swingin’, lefthanded power hitter that played baseball in the ‘90s. We also got looks at the mullets and mallets and high fade polos both of which are plays on golf terms and hair cuts.
Overall, this brand has a really unique aesthetic that leans on the talented artist that puts their yeti in all sorts of fun situations.
Type of Style
Snowman Golf is definitely geared towards a younger audience and has a streetwear kind of bent to it. We get some cartoonish, Rick & Morty vibes from their style as well due to the way the yeti logo looks and appears across nearly all of their merchandise.
They are most certainly not trying to be the country club brand that you see in most golf pro shops around the country. Their style is designed to be noticed which is a growing trend among online golf brands.
Variety of Style
Snowman Golf leans heavily on its over-the-top styling and putting the yeti character in punny designs and they have these options in spades. That said, they do have some options that are a little less whacky and just showcase the yeti once in a traditional chest patch. However, if you’re looking for a basic, solid-color golf polo or quarter zip…you’ve probably come to the wrong brand. Snowman Golf is all about being loud and expressive and they don’t offer very much that is toned down in terms of design.
Snowman Golf’s style might not be for everyone, but it seems like they have a specific target audience in mind. They are looking for the loud, brash men and women that are going to be playing music in their carts and swinging as hard as they can from the tee box. We are more of traditionalists at heart here at Bogey Buddy, but that doesn’t mean we don’t know stylish when we see it. 4.5/5 stars for Style.
How Does Snowman Golf Clothing Fit?
Tops
We tried two polos and a ¼ zip from Snowman golf and found them to fit very well. Starting with the polos, we tested Mullets & Mallets and the High Fade and they both fit nearly identically which we always like to see. There’s nothing worse than ordering two polos and feeling you need a different size simply because of the design.
Despite the streetwear style of these polo designs, we didn’t feel as though they had an oversized, streetwear type fit. They shoulder seem of these shirts hit us perfectly at the joint and they were slim through the chest and midsection. We also loved the length of the polo as it was the perfect length whether you want to wear the shirt tucked or untucked. Let’s face it, if you’re wearing these shirts, you’re probably not tucking them though.
While these shirts aren’t baggy, they aren’t anywhere close to being uncomfortably tight. The material is very stretchy being 8% spandex, and we felt like we could give our 110% swing and not feel any restriction whatsoever. The ¼ zip pullover we tested was the Liger. Big time zubaz pants vibes from this design. The quarter zips are made from the same fabric as the polo so they have that same stretchy, athletic fitting feel to them. The one knock we did have for the pullover is that it seemed to run a little bit longer than the polos. We found this piece to drape all the way over our rear end which was a little too long for our liking.
Bottoms
We did not try on any Bottoms as part of our Snowman Golf purchase. At the time of this writing, it did not appear that Snowman Golf is selling shorts or pants.
Accessories
We couldn’t help ourselves when it came to the Snowman Golf accessories and had to purchase the “Snowkid” hat. The nostalgia vibes are real here and the yeti mascot in this design is easily our favorite of any situation we see him in. Onto the hat fit itself, it is a fairly standard one-size-fits all type with a bit of a higher top to it than some others out there. We do like the wider rope style of their hat offering and also liked what we saw on their site for bucket hats.
Snowman golf doesn’t sell any other accessories like socks or belts at this time, but they do have a really nice selection of yeti ball markers in several of the patterns that appear on their shirts and hats.

Is Snowman Golf Brand Clothing High Quality?
Brand Reputation
Snowman Golf is a newish brand to golf apparel, but they have a sizable instagram following coming in over +20K followers. They do not have any references to other reviews in major golf or apparel publications listed on their website (thankfully you have Bogey Buddy!), but their significant online following means they are doing something right.
We also noticed that they released a collaboration with former Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Donald Driver so it seems as though Snowman Golf is serious about growing the exposure of their brand. We have no concerns with their reputation and just think this is bootstrapping brand working to make a name for itself.
Construction
The construction of the Snowman polos seems to be pretty standard. The polos are made in Pakistan, but the quarter zip did not indicate where it was produced. Anytime we have material that is this stretchy we do have some concerns about longevity, but, hey, you can’t have everything.
Snowman Golf is the type of brand that is about fun designs more than it is about ultra-premium construction and manufacturing and we’re ok with that. If you’re looking for a hand sewn polo you’re not going to find it at Snowman, but we don’t think these polos are going to fall apart after a season of golf either.
Material
At first touch, the polo materials felt pretty nice to us. Good amount of stretch that is very common in any sort of athletic performance wear and even everyday apparel these days. The material feels stretchy and silky from the touch and it does not feel like it would ever weight any one down.
These polos are 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex which means they aren’t as breathable as other fibers, but these feel so light that we don’t think you’d have an issue wearing these on a one hundred degree day. Overall, still a quality polo shirt and quarter zip from an online brand. 3.5/5 stars for Quality
Are Clothing Items From Snowman Golf Good Value?
Snowman Golf is an incredible value from our perspective. These polos have designs that you cannot find anywhere else in golf and, at the time of this writing, they come in under $50! That is an absolute steal and you can hardly get a polo shirt from Walmart at a price that reasonable.
The quarter zips run a bit more expensive, but some pieces were on sale for nearly the same price as the polo shirt when we were making our purchase. On top of that, first time buyers can get a 15% discount for signing up to Snowman Golf’s email list which makes this an even better deal.
This is one of the better value brands in golf if Snowman’s style matches up with yours. You cannot find better pricing on golf attire anywhere. 5/5 stars for Value.

Overall, we recommend Snowman Golf if you, or someone you know, is loud and 100% proud about it. This brand is pushing the boundaries of what acceptable attire at a golf course is and we’re loving them for it. We love the artist’s work around their yeti mascot (love you Snowkid) and the price point of this brand is nothing short of exceptional.
Snowman Golf is a brand that you should keep an eye on especially on their Social Media channels. Their yeti mascot has so much potential that we don’t see them slowing down on designs any time in the near future.
