From their trademark balls, to apparel and, of course, to accessories, Titleist is a brand that produces quality products you can trust. The Titleist Player’s Golf Glove is no exception to this rule. In fact, several PGA pros use this glove from Titleist including Patrick Cantlay & Lee Westwood. If this glove is good enough for the pros, then its good enough for us.
We love leather golf gloves and there is no substitute for the premium Cabretta leather that you find on the Player’s golf glove. It is extremely soft giving it a very comfortable, yet breathable, fit. The construction of the glove feels solid, and the satin reinforcements at the cuff and thumb are subtle and premium touches. Last, we like how the black velcro strap frames up the Titleist logo making it look more like the #1 ball in golf.

The Titleist Player’s Golf Glove isn’t limited to the scratch handicap golfer despite PGA professionals using it. It is on the more expensive side for a single golf glove so we wouldn’t recommend it for the ultimate beginner. While Finger Ten may not have the credentials of a Titleist or other golf brands that appear on this list, they do make a solid golf glove at a very low price point. We chose to include the Finger Ten Tour option because of its Cabretta leather – the best material for a golf glove from our view. This glove has a very soft feel that is consistent with other more premium options from brands in this space.
From a performance perspective, this glove works just fine. We found the soft feel to be extremely comfortable while also letting us maintain a strong grip on our clubs. It also seemed to be breathable with multiple perforations along the fingers. While this glove may not have the durability of some of the most well-known brands, it is priced at around $10 per glove at the time of this writing. Its hard to beat that price for a Cabretta leather glove.

The Finger Ten Tour glove is best for the players that like the soft feel of Cabretta leather but don’t care so much about paying for brands that the pros wear. We don’t love the brand mark of Finger Ten so if things like that don’t matter to you and you like getting a good deal, this might be the option for you. How Should A Golf Glove Fit?

You should be able to easily flex your wrist in either direction and the glove should not feel restrictive across the top of your hand or your palm.
That said and in our opinion, having a glove that fits a little tighter is preferred over a glove that fits too loosely. We don’t like feeling a lot of extra fabric when we’re gripping our hands around the grip of the golf glove so, for us, tighter is better. Not everyone likes a tight fit though, this PGA Tour pro likes to keep his glove unstrapped so whatever works for you!
